The policy for choir jackets is stated below. Each member must meet the requirements and agree to the conditions that are stated in order to receive a senior jacket as a junior member of the Concert Choir. Remember, this is a senior jacket given during the junior year so that the member will have more opportunity to wear it.
POLICY:A choir member must have participated for three years in the Laurel Choir program to earn a jacket. Those three years must include at least two years in the High School program. . The eligible member must also be a participating member in their junior and senior years atLaurel. A choir member who meets there requirements will receive a jacket their junior year.
Any member who receives a jacket in his/her junior year, and then for an unforeseen reason is not part of the group his/her junior or senior year, must still pay the cost of the jacket.
Part time participation due to scheduling difficulties is counted towards eligibility for a jacket.
